First Major Cultural Donation

The Québec government’s First Major Cultural Donation Program offers an enhanced tax credit to individuals who claim this credit for the first time after making a significant donation (between $5,000 and $25,000) to an eligible cultural organization — such as Les Violons du Roy.

This means that, through a combination of federal, provincial, and cultural tax credits, you can support an exceptional musical ensemble… at only a fraction of the actual cost.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

Must be a resident of Québec.
Must make a single donation between $5,000 and $25,000 to an eligible cultural organization.
Must not have previously claimed the First Major Cultural Donation tax credit.

You may have donated to cultural organizations in the past — as long as you’ve never used this credit, you remain eligible.
