The 2026 Benefit Gala: A Night in Perfect Harmony

On April 9, Les Violons du Roy and La Chapelle de Québec gathered for their annual Benefit Gala, Maîtres virtuoses, la justice au diapason — an evening of music, emotion, and extraordinary generosity.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mᵉ Samuel Massicotte, Bâtonnier de Québec and Honorary Chair of the event, whose dedication to Les Violons du Roy and to Quebec's cultural life lent the evening its special character.

The concert, led with brilliance by Kerson Leong as both soloist and conductor, was one of the night's defining moments. Félix Marzell's exhibition Le Jeu du Luthier — a captivating dialogue between musical instruments and visual art — delighted guests throughout the evening.

The eagerly anticipated draw for the handcrafted blanket made by Les Tricoteuses du Roy once again generated much excitement. Congratulations to Mr. Alain Roberge, who takes home this beautiful artisan keepsake!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, partners, and guests, the 2026 Gala raised $143,935 in support of our artistic programs, allowing us to continue offering music that is vibrant, demanding, and accessible to all.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, near and far, to making this an unforgettable evening.
