LES VIOLONS DU ROY POSTPONES ALL CONCERTS OCTOBER 1 TO NOVEMBER 9, 2020

Québec City, October 28, 2020 – To help curb the spread of COVID-19, the Quebec Government has announced an extension of concert hall closures until November 23, with a promise to re-evaluate the situation on November 9, midway through the extension period. Therefore, Les Violons du Roy, in collaboration with artists and presenters and according to public health authority guidelines, is postponing the following concerts scheduled for Quebec City and Montreal:

Palais Montcalm – Maison de la musique
De Corelli à Vivaldi, scheduled for October 1 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Grands maîtres du baroque, scheduled for October 11 at 2 p.m.
Les Tableaux d’une exposition, scheduled for October 22 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Bach et Buxtehude, une foi partagée, scheduled for November 4 at 7:30 p.m.
Bach et Buxtehude, une foi partagée, scheduled for November 5 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Montreal Museum of Fine Arts – Bourgie Hall
Grands maîtres du baroque, scheduled for October 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Grands maîtres du baroque, scheduled for October 10 at 2:30 p.m.

Maison symphonique de Montréal
Bach et Buxtehude, une foi partagée (previously entitled Handel, chœurs et feux d’artifice royaux), scheduled for November 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Those who have tickets should keep them.

Ticket holders will be notified individually as soon as more information becomes available, and the website, violonsduroy.com, will be updated regularly.
