How the competition works

Selection of finalists

Mentoring

To help them work on their concerto pieces, finalists will be mentored individually in an online class with a Les Violons du Roy musician in the week of August 10, 2020. They will also take part in a one-on-one online class open to the public with Les Violons du Roy music director Jonathan Cohen.

Final

Finalists have until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, to send a new video of the same piece they submitted earlier.
