Annie Morrier began to study the viola at the Chicoutimi conservatory. During her time as a student, she played with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada and the Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra, performing in Europe, the United States and throughout Canada. She also studied with leading teachers at the Domaine Forget summer academy, including Gérard Caussé, Bruno Giuranna, Roberto Diaz and Steven Dann. In 2001, she graduated from the Québec City conservatory with a Prize “with distinction” as a student of François Paradis.
Annie Morrier has been a member of L'Orchestre symphonique de Québec, L'Orchestre symphonique du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean and Quatuor Cartier, and is a founding member of the contemporary ensemble Erreur de Type 27. She joined Les Violons du Roy in 2005.
