Angélique Duguay has been a member of Les Violons du Roy since 1996. She studied at McGill University with Thomas Williams, Richard Roberts and Mauricio Fuks, completing a Bachelor’s degree and an Artist Diploma. At the start of her career, Angélique Duguay played with L’Orchestre symphonique de Laval, Les Jeunes Virtuoses de Montréal and other groups. She was also a member of L’orchestre Léonard de Vinci at the Rouen opera house during a stay in Europe. She still appears regularly with the OSQ, L’Opéra de Montréal, and La Sinfonia de Lanaudière, and has taken part in many critically-acclaimed recordings, including the CD of Handel Arias for Virgin Classics and other Les Violons du Roy releases. Angélique Duguay is often asked to take part in private recording sessions, and tours regularly with Les Violons.
