L'heure est grave
18-19 APÉRO SERIES
Palais Montcalm - Maison de la musique
995, place D’Youville, Quebec City
Les Violons du Roy are proud to present L’heure est grave, the 20th concert in our Apéro series, which made its debut five years ago. Cellists Benoit Loiselle and Raphaël Dubé and bassist Raphaël McNabney, the core of the orchestra’s low string section, put their talents together to serve up a diverse program featuring works by Bach, Boccherini, Bruckner, and others.
This concert will also be presented on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Salle D'Youville, Palais Montcalm - Maison de la musique in Quebec City.
The Apéro series is a sort of happy hour hosted by the musicians to give audiences a chance to enjoy a friendlier, more intimate musical experience with Les Violons du Roy. The bar opens at 5 p.m. prior to Apéro Series concerts, and one drink is included in the ticket price.
