Jonathan Cohen celebrates the jaw-dropping brilliance displayed by some of the great composers early in their lives and that has given us some of the pearls of the string orchestra repertoire. The performance opens with the famous Toy Symphony attributed to Mozart’s father, giving little ones a chance to perform with Les Violons du Roy!
Violinist Anaïs Saucier-Lafond, winner of the Violons du Roy Foundation Prize at the 2018 Concours de musique de la Capitale, will play Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.3 in G Major, K.216.
