Jonathan Cohen celebrates the jaw-dropping brilliance displayed by some of the great composers early in their lives and that has given us some of the pearls of the string orchestra repertoire. One such work is Schubert’s Rondo for Violin and Strings, here performed with concertmaster Pascale Giguère in the solo role.
