Lively and spirited violinist and conductor Julien Chauvin debuts with Les Violons du Roy in a program of French and German masterworks. Actor Normand Chouinard takes the stage in the second half in the role of Don Quixote, whose madcap adventures were so gloriously interpreted by Telemann.

The scores of the works by Dauvergne, Leclair, and Mondonville were produced by Centre de musique baroque de Versailles.
