Comme résonne la vie, dans le regard d'Hélène Dorion
19-20 PLAISIRS D'APRÈS-MIDI SERIES
Palais Montcalm - Maison de la musique
995, place D’Youville, Quebec City
“Words of frost and strong winds. Read her, listen to her: you will come away strengthened by her deliberate fragility. Like me, you’ll feel more keenly the sound of life.” So says Bruno Doucey of the poetry of Hélène Dorion. Throughout the concert, the writer will read excerpts from her book of poems Comme résonne la vie, alternating or superimposed with music. (In French only)
This concert will be followed by a talkback & snack session with the artists.
This concert will also be presented on Friday, March 20, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. at Montréal Museum of Fine Arts' Bourgie Hall.
